Hecate Enthroned Check in with New Update

Dylan, the bass player of UK black metallers Hecate Enthroned, has checked in with the following studio update:

"Finally the studio and Producer details are sorted for the recording of the new album 'Redimus'. We enter The Blueroom Studios in Manchester on the 3rd of January for 3 weeks with the option for an extra week, either way it will all be done in January for an April/May release. As for Producer, we will be producing it ourselves with help from the in house engineer and owner Phi. The decision to produce ourselves was made after a lot of thought and discussion, we have built up a lot of experience between us over the years and felt that we could do a good job and more importantly this would give us more control over the album, it will sound how we want it too. We have worked with some good producers on previous albums and they have all stmped there personalities onto the release that's what producers do, but this time it will all be ours.

The name 'Redimus' was chosen, it means 'We return' in Latin, self explanatory really. A track listing is below. We feel the songs are much stronger than before, better crafted, we feel we have achieved a good balance between esoteric and all out brutality. There are a lot of classic Hecate moments in there as well as some new vibes, the album probably leans more towards 'Miasma' than 'Kings of chaos' in that it is very varied yet the songs do flow together. We are sure that none of you will be dissapointed, whether it's the chaotic brutality or the epic feel you crave.

1. No one hears
2. An eternal belief - I am born part III
3. The shining delight
4. Headhunter
5. Soil of sin
6. The face of betrayal
7. Choose misanthropy
8. As fire
9. Overriding imagination

There are also 3 more unamed tracks, 2 of which are instrumentals

As always....stay true,
