Bleeding Through Off Pure Hatred Tour
Band Photo: Bleeding Through (?)
Bleeding Through are said to be most "likely going home" and are set to drop off the current Chimaira, Soilwork, As I Lay Dying 'Pure Hatred' tour. The band unfortunately ran into black ice on their way out of Salt Lake City, Utah and ended up in a huge 4 car pile up. The van, and trailer are all destroyed. Thankfully, the band came out all live with only minor scrapes and bruises.
Here's the official word from Trustkill:
"We just got a phonecall from Bleeding Through on the road. Turns out, the shitty luck of Utah strikes again, and the band hit black ice on their way out of SLC and ended up in a four car pile-up. Van is smashed, trailer is destroyed, but luckily the band only got minor scrapes and bruises. The band will likely be going home now and will not be finishing the tour as they are stuck in SLC now, and really have no means of finishing anyway. They apologize to the fans that wanted to come see them, they'll come back after the new year. Please send your regards to the band here: email@example.com. What is it with Utah anyway? It's like the Bermuda Triangle of hardcore... To all the other bands out there on tour, be safe."
Here's what tour-headliners Chimaira had to say about it:
"We woke up this morning with some bad news. Bleeding Through were involved in a serious van accident this morning and will not be able to finish the tour. We know that all of the band members and their crew are ok, but there van will not be able to finish. We wish the guys the best of luck and had a great time with them on this tour. We apologize to any fans that were looking forward to seeing them on the tour, and hope that you understand why they will not be performing on the dates."
