Cassandra Syndrome Announces Details For New Album "Satire X"
Cassandra Syndrome has announced the band's second full-length album "Satire X" will be released on August 1st, 2011. The album was produced by Jeremy Rodgers and Lani Urreta and is the follow-up to 2009’s "Of Patriots and Tyrants." According to the band, the new album "combines poignant, socially conscious lyrics, exquisite vocal melodies and masterful riffs into a metal-based call to action" and is a reference to the "bread and circuses" of first century satirist Juvenal.
A single off the album, titled "The Magus," can be heard at this location. A behind the scenes video on "Satire X" is set to be released on Thursday, June 30th and a music video for "Shackles" will drop on Sunday, July 10th. The album's cover artwork can also be viewed below.
