Greek black metallers Naer Mataron have checked in with the following update from the band's time in the recording studio:

"Guitar day no. 2 is at the end! Eight tracks down, one to go for the rhythm guitars, and the result sounds massive, like a war machine sweeping mankind off the face of the earth! I like to keep things simple: Jackson RR1 (ultimate shredding axe), Diesel amp + rare custom Diesel cabinet (with two extra 15" to handle more bass) and one mic to capture the mayhem! A bit of warming up and then unleash all Hell! Woo hoo, that's a lot of shredding in two days, but never mind that tired wrist, this is the most insane stuff you've ever heard from Naer Mataron. No shit.

"Next day will mainly be lead guitar day, so we're going to use our Gibson V to get the more round edge of this classic piece. Probably combine the tube amp with some preamp to get a more flexible sound for the leads, but basically that's it - add the emotion and our ravaging energy and everything is set.

"The chemistry between us in this album is huge and this is something you can hear in the studio. This album already sounds like Hell itself. Stay tuned for there is much more to come."

Naer Mataron's last studio update is also still available for viewing by heading over to this location.
