Blood Mortized Checks In With Recording Studio Update

Sweden's Blood Mortized, which recently inked a deal with FDA Rekotz, has now checked in with the following recording update:

"So the time has come and I have finally started to record drums for our upcoming album The Key To A Black Heart, to be released by FDA Rekotz on CD and Chaos Records on vinyl in autumn 2011! I will record drums for 11 songs, titles to be revealed as we go along the recording of each title!

"Microphone set-up for the drums is Shure SM57 for snare (top and bottom) Audix: D6 bassdr, D2 toms, D4 floor toms, ADX 51 overheads. Shure SM81 for hi-hat/ride. ShinyBox 46MXL ribbon microphones with Lundahl transformers for room ambience. I use Sonor Delite drums, except for bass drum where I use a Premiere Genista birch drum, like always Sabian cymbals!

"Today I will start recording and the first song which goes onto ehh tape is 'Bringer of eternal death' a heavy little fucker with lots of slow pounding double bass! Stay tuned for more updates, pics and video clips!"
