The Haunted reports that the Kabuto Metal Festival that was to take place in Japan in May has been cancelled by the organizers due to the situation resulting from the earthquake and tsunami in early March. Bands who were to participate in the fest included:
White Side: Story of the Year, Thursday, Underoath, envy, Architects, Meaning, and Crossfaith
Dark Side: Morbid Angel, The Haunted, Ihsahn, Origin, Rotten Sound, and Leprous
"We hope to come back to Japan later this year," states The Haunted. The band still plans to play their Australian dates as well as their appearance in Bangkok, however.
