Kreator Begins Work On Upcoming Album

German thrash metal favorites Kreator have announced that they are planning to begin working on their next album in May, the follow up to 2009's, "Hordes Of Chaos." A message from frontman Mille Petrozza reads as follows:

"I have 5 songs more or less ready and ideas for at least 5 more. We are really looking forward to get back into the creative process again. We know that our fans only expect the best from us and we, as a band, will make sure that none of you will be disappointed. I am very aware that some of you don`t like the fact that Kreator is releasing a new album only every 3-4 years, but let me tell you that it will be worth the wait!

"Keep an eye our Homepage, Facebook, and Myspace. We'll be posting some stuff from the rehearsals soon."

I expected more from "Hordes of Chaos", this album was a little dissapointment.

Let's hope for a better follower...

Hordes was one of the few albums of theirs I put up there with Enemy of God. In fact, sometimes I forget which songs are on which album because theyre so much in the same vein of sound that it barely matters. I just cant understand how someone can think that album is crap. The title track alone is almost worth the whole album to me. Classic song in the Kreator catalog.

Ride the Lightning was AWESOME, but Master of Puppets was just stupid. Wuh?

I could not agree more FAN, seriously? I thought Hordes was great - it sounds like the album Slayer should have made. I didn't listen to EOG a whole lot but they seemed to have the same direction to me.
