Cerebral Bore Releases New Video "Maniacal Miscreation"

Cerebral Bore has posted a video for "Maniacal Miscreation," the title track from the band's debut album. The Scottish death metal band used Phil Berridge of Creative Junkie Media to direct the video. Berridge is responsible for the band's first video "The Bald Cadaver."

Cerebral Bore front woman Simone "Som" Pluimers comments:

"Shooting the video for 'Maniacal Miscreation' was great but very cold; you can see the blood pulling out of our white, freezing faces. Compared to the video for 'The Bald Cadaver', we were done within no time, as we all knew what to do and what to expect.

"For the ones who have seen our new music video, you can already see what it is about. Basically to put it between short lines, it's about a 'tar man' who is the maniacal miscreation. Also, you might have noticed there are again photos in the video as we did in 'The Bald Cadaver' - we try not to have too serious videos, so a laugh is needed on its time! This time we put down a contest on Facebook: 'Get your grandparents in our new music video'. The people you see on the photos are: Susan Boyle (we, again, needed something Scottish in it for a laugh), Putrid Pile (Shaun)'s grandpa, and two others I can't remember the names of.

"It was a good laugh and you might see 'making of' footage of the video soon or on an upcoming DVD somewhere in the future! We hope you all enjoy our video."

Drummer Allan Mcdibet adds:

"It was cold, a bitch to shoot. But it was fucking awesome!"

"Maniacal Miscreation" is now available in Europe through Earache Records. North American fans can purchase the album on June 7th, 2011 or purchase it through iTunes.
