Finland's Dead Shape Figure has issued the following announcement about parting ways with guitarist Kride Lahti:

"Kride has left the band due personal reasons and lack of motivation. There is no bad blood between him and the band and we like to thank Kride for the years he shared with DSF. Take care buddy! So we need a new guitar player now."

Anyone interested in applying for the guitarist position can find the details (in Finnish) here.

Dead Shape Figure also recently contributed a cover version of Type O Negative's "Dead Again" for Metalunderground.com's upcoming Peter Steele tribute album. The cover artwork and first teaser trailer for the album can be found at this location.
