Video footage has been posted online showing a surging crowd of Iron Maiden fans that caused a security barricade to collapse during the band's concert earlier tonight (Sunday, March 27) at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, forcing the group to cancel its performance. The incident happened during the first song of the band's set, "Satellite 15...The Final Frontier." You can view the video below.

They're sticking around to replay show tonite. With better barriers. Obviously when you got 130 thousand people gathered in one place safety has to be a concern. People definatley could have gotten crushed by the surge. Right move to call off show. And Rychemm;u so lucky

Yea that sh** can get bad. My girl ended up getting her foot crushed underneath the barrier at a concert a few years ago. The crowd just surged forward and pushed the barrier off the ground and it slammed back down on her. That totally sucks. At least it's good they did something about it.
