New Mastodon Concert DVD Projection Film Posted Online

American progressive metal act Mastodon has posted projection film clips online to promote the band's new live CD/DVD set "Mastodon: Live At The Aragon." "Live At The Aragon" was released on March 15, 2011 through Reprise Records. The two disc set was filmed and recorded during the band's October 17, 2009 concert at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois and features a performance of the "Crack The Skye" album in its entirety. Well, I love Mastodon, but I thought the projection was pretty silly.

And definitely that's the studio version, unless Mastodon has moved onto playbacks (the same thing anyway)

I think BGs got a point as usual. Never seen Mastodon live but judging by some video clips, they're not that great live. Brann and Bill are great, but the other two... not really. And Brent just seems way, way too wasted all the time.
