Pestilence Streaming Songs From New Album "Doctrine"

Dutch death metal act Pestilence will be releasing the new album "Doctrine" in April, 2011 through Mascot Records. The eleven-track CD was recorded and mixed at Woodshed Studio in Germany with engineer Victor Bullok. Pestilence is now streaming two new songs from the album, titled "Salvation" and "Sinister," through the band's official web page. You can check out the songs here.

They just sound like any other boring modern "extreme" band. The annoying galloping drums that sound like every other record released since 2001-02.
Any skinny dork can start a band, do "brootal" growling, autotune the guitars and drums the same way. Its become a dime a dozen. Same thing with chick-fronted bands and the whole metalcore thing.
Pestilence used to be so much more in the 80's-90's. Which is pretty true of every other metal band that has survived that long.

That snare is horrible!! i used to like these guys 20 years ago but i can barely hear the guitars over that out of whack thumping.
