Mexican doomsters Maligno have been tabbed to support Iron Maiden for two dates in Mexico; and as it happens it is the next two nights! Maligno released the following statement regarding the honor:
"We feel very thrilled and honored for this opportunity and to share the stage with a heavy metal legend and monster of a band as Iron Maiden also returning to Mexico City and playing the Foro Sol and the new auditorium in our hometown Monterrey."
The two dates are as follows:
March 17 - Monterrey, México – Auditorio Banamex
March 18 – Mexico City – Foro Sol
Maligno released the band's second studio album, "Universevil," back in September of 2008, and has finished mixing a third as-yet-untitled album, which will have guest spots from Testament's Alex Skolnick and Rodrigo y Gabriela. Check out more at Maligno's MySpace Page.
