Norwegian musical mastermind Ihsahn (formerly of Emperor) will be making a U.K. festival appearance at the upcoming Bloodstock Open Air. Ihsahn will be appearing on the Ronnie James Dio stage.

"I have strong musical bonds to the UK, both as fan and artist" declares Ihsahn. “I played my first UK show back in 1993 but this will be my first open-air appearance and I’m really looking forward to it.”

The festival takes place from August 12th - 14th and additional details are available at the Bloodstock website here. Ihsahn also recently announced he has contributed guest vocals to the Devin Townsend album "Deconstruction."
