Deftones To Release Covers Album LP For "Record Stay Day"

Deftones have revealed the tracklisting for its upcoming "Record Store Day" LP release featuring eleven cover tracks. The vinyl-only album, simply titled "Covers," will be made available at participating independent retailers on April 16th, 2011. The tracklisting for the special release can be viewed below:
Side A:

2. Caress (Drive Like Jehu)
3. Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want (The Smiths)
4. No Ordinary Love (Sade)
5. Savory (Jawbox)

Brings it back doesn't DB? That song reminds me of a time of less responsibility...when I might not quite have known yet that life isn't fair...I digress.
It's crazy, but I can almost hear the Deftones covering Sade before I can The Cars. I'm interested in these (2) songs most.
Good stuff, need to check this one out!
Agreed, The Cars and Sade covers seems initially the most interesting, but it'll be interesting to hear what The Cure and The Smiths covers will sound like.
Only on vinyl? Now, what's the point in that? Why are The Deftones forcing people to download this album?

Interesting. I'm actually very curious to hear their Cars cover since that's a song I remember growing up.
