As Third String Productions enters a 7th year of promoting festivals in North Texas, the organization has teamed up with Sumerian Records to present the 2011 South By So What?! music festival. South By So What?! began in 2007 as a multi-stage music festival showcasing the majority of the all-ages bands that would be making the trek to SXSW. This year's festival will be held at The Palladium Ballroom in Dallas, TX on Saturday, March 19th and headlined by Sumerian artist Asking Alexandria.

The support acts include: Emmure, Whitechapel, Enter Shikari, Dance Gavin Dance, The Faceless, The Acacia Strain, Chiodos, Veil of Maya, Animals As Leaders, the recently reunited Gatsby's American Dream, Iwrestledabearonce, Miss May I, Chelsea Grin, Evergreen Terrace, Kill Matriarch, T-Mills, Lower Than Atlantis, Of Mice & Men, In Fear And Faith, I Set My Friends On Fire, Sleeping With Sirens, Upon A Burning Body, Abandon All Ships, Woe Is Me, The Color Morale, I Declare War, For All Those Sleeping, Just Like Vinyl, Close To Home, The Amity Affliction, and more still to be announced.

basically all the -core bands plaguing warped tour with the exception of the faceless, animals as leaders and veil of maya. they rlly shouldn't be there. and i'd have to admit, i've got a soft spot for in fear and faith.
