Inmate Issues Recording Studio Report

Slovenian metallers Inmate have posted a studio video clip, which can be found after the jump. The band also issued the following update from the studio:

"Our studio work began in December, 2010. We are posting email comments from Andrej in a date order as he sent them to the rest of the band members. We should mention, Andrej usually writes short messages and is not used to express his feelings through emails.

"12/9/10 We made several tests today. The recordings will be made directly without head and cabinet. It is important only to get a clean signal which we will reamp through heads later. Despite clean signal I hear distortion version while recording (the quality of the sound is not important at the moment), so everything is under control. Tomorrow we begin recording Inexorable Path.

"12/17/10 Inexorable Path finished. Lost in Words finished. Recorded everything except solos. Awesome!

"12/22/10 Strength and Honour finished.

"12/22/10 Finished In The Circle of Courage rhythm guitars.

"1/6/11 Inner Fear finished. We also recorded the first part of In The Hour of Truth where the tempo is 130 bps.

"1/11/11 In The Hour of Truth finished. First half of Fire, Walk With Me done.

"1/13/11 Fire, Walk With Me is finished with a half of solo included. Instrumentals are awesome. If anyone wants to hear them he can go with me on Saturday or Sunday when we will be in the studio.

"1/16/11 Jure, made drums for outro. Made them modern, the kind you will like. Tempo is 180 bps. As soon as possible! Today we will be recording the song number 10 and Darkness will be soon on schedule.

"1/17/11 We shortened Without Warning a bit. Now it will be even a better song!

"1/25/11 Written in Blood, Just for Today are finished. Tomorrow we begin with Darkness.

"1/28/11 Darkness is finished. The song should have orchestral parts included.

"1/29/11 We recorded Outro. What a nice end of the album it will make.

"I am very satisfied with the recording so far. Songs came out much better than I expected. I was surprised how good the first recording sounded although it was just rough version. Tat Purusha and I became very good friends during the recording. He is a person you can trust. And I respect him a lot because of his profi-approach. He can hear things and see improvements where needed. His knowledge about studio recording is very professional and on a high level. He also played some guitar parts on the recording. He has a very good feeling for solo parts. Magic fingers. Rhythm lines are ready and recorded. We needed 31 days to record 11 songs. App. 100 hours of recording. Solo parts still need to be recorded. So it is Sašo's turn to record bass lines."
