Leprous recently announced upcoming shows in Japan acting as solo artist Ihsahn's backing band. Ihsahn has also now checked in with the following update about Leprous recording a new album in his studio:
"Leprous recording new album in Ivory Shoulder. We are happy to have the guys in Leprous working in our studio these days. So far the recording has been going great, and new material is absolutely fantastic! In lack of a crystal ball, we would still definitely predict this to be one of the best progressive albums coming out in 2011."
Ihsahn also announced in October of last year that writing had begun for his fourth solo album and follow up to 2010's "After."
