Black Label Society Frontman Zakk Wylde Teams Up With William Shatner For Black Sabbath Cover?
It seems the previously announced news of a commercial collaboration between Ozzy Osbourne and Justin Bieber is not the most bizzare duo of the day, as William Shatner, the actor known his roles as Captain James T. Kirk in the original Star Trek series and the title character in T.J. Hooker, has announced via his Twitter that he is working with Black Label Society mainman Zakk Wylde on his new album. Although it has not been confirmed, it seems as though the two will be covering the Black Sabbath classic, "Iron Man." William Shatner's Twitter posts read as follows:
"Just watched tracks being laid down by Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society for my upcoming record Seeking Major Tom [sic].
"Zakk is one of the great guitarists who played with Ozzy Osbourne. A master playing a cover of 'Iron Man'. He's fantastic! I'm energized."
