Fates Warning Members Form New Band Arch/Matheos

Jim Matheos and John Arch are currently working together on a new full-length album that will be released in late spring/early summer via Metal Blade Records. The new band, called Arch/Matheos, began tracking the drums on January 12th and will continue to record through mid February with both John Arch and Jim Matheos producing the album.

Arch/Matheos features Joey Vera on bass (Armored Saint, Anthrax, Fates Warning, Seven Witches), Bobby Jarzombek on drums (Halford, Fates Warning, Sebastian Bach, Riot), and Frank Aresti on additional lead guitar (Fates Warning). More details on the new band and album will be announced over the coming months.

Looking forward 2 this collaboration. Anyone old enough 2 remember John Arch era Fates Warning knows this will be great!interesting 2 see if Arch still has the range. He's up there in age. Awaken the Gaurdian is one of my all time favorite metal albums!
