Ohio metallers Skeletonwitch have released the second of three planned 7-inch records, this one on green vinyl and featuring a recently re-recorded version of "The Skullsplitter," which is from the band's self-released debut "At One with the Shadows."
The B-side features "No Rest for the Dead," which was recorded with producer Jack Endino, who has worked with Nirvana, Soundgarden and High On Fire, among others. The track was cut during the "Breathing the Fire" sessions and was originally used as a bonus track on the iTunes version of the album. The band is only pressing up 500 copies.
Skeletonwitch also recently announced the band is writing the follow-up to 2009's "Breathing the Fire."
