Low Twelve Posts Music Video For "Splatter Pattern" Online and Announces New Drummer
Low Twelve, a thrash metal band from Bloomington IL, recently completed a music video for the title track of their latest "Splatter Pattern" album. The video was filmed, edited, and produced by Low Twelve founding member Pete Altieri - who has also produced their last several music videos. The video was shot in their 12 x 12 foot practice space known to fans as the V-12 Concussion Chamber.
This is the final music video to feature long-time drummer Wes Pollock, who played his final show with the band on November 20, 2010 after 11 years of service. Wes recently completed an audio engineering program and has started recording bands under his own company called Sonic Haven Studios in Bloomington Illinois. Wes was replaced on drums by Travis Waterman, who will play his first show with Low Twelve on February 12, 2011. Travis played in bands previously with Low Twelve guitarist Meister, and has known the other members of the band for more than 10 years.
The video can be seen below:
Video producer and Low Twelve bassist/singer Pete Altieri commented on the latest video, "This video was done using one video camera and only the band to shoot it since our practice space is so small you can't fit anyone else in the room while we play! I'm happy with the way it turned out considering most bands spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to put a video together. This video cost us about $6 to produce and that was for the mini dv tape! Even bands have to be frugal these days!"
