Reunited technical death metal outfit Atheist has announced that they will be heading to Europe for a series of shows in April, in support of their new studio album, "Jupiter." Joining them on the tour will be fellow death metal veterans, Exhumed. A message from Atheist frontman Kelly Schaefer reads as follows:

"Greetings everyone, thank you all for the overwhelming support of our new album, Jupiter. We are humbled by all of the nice things being said about the new stuff and cannot wait to bring it to the stage. So now it's time to come pull some faces off in Europe on our first headlining run in support of the new album! And we are stoked to share the tour with the boys from Exhumed. We are able to play a few places we have never been before so we are all very excited about that, as well as the fact that we of course have some fun new shit to play live - the songs from Jupiter along with songs from all three prior albums. See you all on tour in 2011!"

The tour dates are as follows:

April 22 - Oslo, Norway - Rockefeller Music Hall (Inferno Fest)
April 23 - London, England - Relentless Garage
April 24 - Essen, Germany - Turock
April 25 - Paris, France - Divan du Monde
April 26 - Zürich, Switzerland - Dynamo
April 27 - Milano, Italy - Live Club
April 28 - München, Germany - Feierwerk, Kranhalle
April 29 - Tilburg, Holland - Neurotic Death Fest
April 30 - Athens, Greece - Kyttaro Live
