Powerwolf To Enter The Recording Studio

Powerwolf has issued the following announcement about entering the studio to record a new album:

"The wolves are currently busy writing the follow up album to 'Bible of the beast.' We spent the last three months in the rehersal room working out stuff for the new album. Even though it's still in the making we can already promise the songs are 100% Powerwolf, taking off where 'Bible of the beast' ended - there's furious stuff, there's epic stuff - and all of it is catchy as hell.

"For the production we're going to team up with exactly the same crew as for 'Bible of the beast:' Kohlekeller Studios for the recordings, any chapel we can haunt for organ and choir celebrations - and of course Studio Fredman and Fredric Nordström for mix. The pack will invade studio in December and the recording process will last until February. Expect a tentative release midyear 2011. More details and updates will follow as we find a minute to draw a few lines."

YES! I stumbled upon this band right after Bible of the Beast came out and it blew my wig back. I love the "power" that's put in the songs, lots of energy. The haunting organ riffs make it perfect for a black metal/goth fan. I'm not a big fan of power metal in general, mainly due to the vocal styles, but this band truly kicks ass.

this would only be great news if it is released in the united states. their first two cd's, which i have, were released in the u.s., but "bible of the beast" was not. i'm not going to spend an arm or a leg to get their newer releases if they don't make them easier to access, however great they may be.

ok, let me correct myself, they were never actually released in the united states, but the first two powerwolf cd's were made AVAILABLE in the united states, through amazon.com, whereas "bible of the beast" was not. i think the band needs to focus on making their product more readily AVAILABLE to their fans..........even if they are across the atlantic ocean in the u.s.a.
