"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Extreme O.D. Recruits New Guitarist Jim Knights

U.K. based act Extreme O.D. has issued the following update about the band's activity and recruiting a new guitarist:

"Hey dudes, I thought its about time I posted a much needed update! Following our appearance at this years Bloodstock Festival we are delighted to announce a management/development deal with Rocksector Records. This in turn led onto some successful support slots with the awesome UK metal band that is Beholder. We had an amazing time gigging with these guys and you can see us in their tour diary video here.

"Kieron left the band in September. He will be focusing on another project, we wish him the best of luck with this. Last week on October 9th our good friends Enemo J played a brutal set supporting the almighty Korn at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. Katie performed guest vocals on the track she recorded with them for their upcoming album. You can listen to the track 'Our Final Day' here!

"We are very excited to announce that Jim Knights has joined us on guitar. All you need to know about Jim is he likes beer, boobs and shredding the shit out of his guitar. The first chance you'll get to see the new line up is at the Manchester Metal Collective gig on Halloween. Come down, have a beer with us and catch some amazing underground bands.

"With the new lineup we will be writing a completely new set and album for 2011 which will be released through all the proper channels. We will also be changing the name of the band to reflect these changes and the slightly new direction the writing is going. Don't worry its still gonna be brutal and groovy. Exciting times ahead! Cheers dudes, I'll keep you updated."
