Swedish dark metal act Katatonia has commented on its forthcoming performance in the country of India, for the first time in the band's career. The announcement was first made during an interview with Metalunderground.com that took place in mid-September. You can read the interview here and the band's comment below:

"We're very proud to announce that Katatonia will perform at the music portion of the annual cultural festival for students, Mood Indigo, held for the 39th time in Mumbai, India. We'll be flying into India straight after our Australian run on the travelling 'No Sleep Till...' festival and will headline the main stage on Tuesday, December 21 where, hopefully, a big portion of the 72.000 students attending will come to check us out."

The Mood Indigo Festival takes place between December 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
