I can't believe that one of my favourite bands Anthrax, is joining forces with a bunch of fags in a supergroup. I'm not mad at Anthrax, but this is scary.

Post 4 got it. I just listened to two songs they got up on their myspace. I wouldn't say it's terrible, but there's certainly nothing "super" about it. However, I will also say that combos like this just don't need to happen. Not the Music itself, but what bothers me most is the combo of members...specifically Anthrax being involved.

I dunno why members of certain bands agree to do this...perhaps cuz they feel they would be close-minded if they didn't ? Perhaps to "break barriers"? I don't care,
I'm with post 11, lol.

Well its actually no secret that one of the guitarists from fallout boy is a metal fan. He wears slayer and mastodon shirts on stage all the time and everyone keeps asking him if hes gonna do a metal side project. I guess this is him doin it. And seeing how damn rooted in punk anthrax and every time i die are, that line up isnt all that surprising either

Sometimes we metalheads are our own worst enemies. This group has the potential to be really interesting with all of the blending musical styles.

Think of all the people who b****ed when Scoot Ian did that song with public enemy back in the 90's. That song's f***ing sick.

Suck it up and let people know that metal isn't all about an image and screaming inaudible sh** into a mic. Does this make Scott Ian any less bad ass? Of course not, he's Scott f***ing Ian! You know the riffs are going to be amazing.
