Issues And Rumors

Korn have completed tracking all of the music for their upcoming and as of yet untitled new album, which is currently planned for a January/February release through Immortal/Epic. At present, band frontman Jonathan Davis is in a Vancouver, BC studio tracking vocals for the effort with producer Michael Beinhorn (Soundgarden, Hole).

Here are the comments Jonathon Davis gave to MTV:

"I know we always say this about albums, but this is the heaviest and the best thing we've ever done. I'm really excited about it."
He also finally commented on the situation regarding band drummer David Silveria, denying that he is leaving the group, despite it having been rumored for quite sometime. Here's what he had to say on the matter:
"It's taken us a long time. We've gone through so many different ups and downs.... Waiting for David's arm to get better and hoping he could still be in the band, that was a scary ordeal. If the surgery didn't work, he couldn't play. The surgery was successful, and he's back in, so we had to give him time to recover and not play. So we had to sit on our hands."
