Hate Division Finishes New Album "Strategy Of Obsolescence"
New Glasgow based death metallers Hate Division have announced they have finished recording their debut full-length album "Strategy of Obsolescence." The band had previously released a four song self-titled EP in 2009. Hate Division is currently streaming a new song online from the album, titled "A Slice of Freedom." The song can be heard at this location.
"We wanted to make this album a 'collected works' of all of our influences. Essentially, create something that is both diverse and cohesive while remaining as brutal as possible. I think we accomplished what we set out to do." Commented the band's drummer Shane Forsyth. Bassist Paul Shaw also added, "We took our time with this album to ensure it was the best it could possibly be, it was definitely worth the wait! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do."
