Behemoth Frontman Adam "Nergal" Darski Rushed To Polish Hospital

Several polish media outlets are reporting that Adam "Nergal" Darski, vocalist of the Polish death metal act Behemoth, has been rushed to hospital for immediate medical treatment for an undisclosed illness. It was reported on August 5th, 2010 that Behemoth would have to cancel their scheduled appearance at this year's Sonisphere Festival to do "health issues." Adam Darski was admitted to Gdansk Medical University Hospital to receive emergency treatment. Polish media are also reporting that manager Jaroslaw Burdek and fellow Behemoth band members had reportedly claimed Nergal's condition was seen as "serious."
According to se.pl Adam "Nergal" Darski was sent to the Haematology Branch of Gdansk Medical University Hospital. Haematology is the practice of medicine relating to blood and bone marrow disorders.
All future touring plans are currently on hold, until further information is released.

Ugh. This idea that Nergal is experiencing karmic back lash from a big invisible man in the sky because he tore up a Bible at a concert is so ridiculous.
If Nergal sprouted a series of cancerous growths with mouths that screamed out "This is punishment from the Christian God for tearing up a Bible!" then people could make this claim. He's s got an illness that can be explained without any sort of supernatural mumbo jumbo. Apparently these people are unaware that Christians also get sick and have to go to the hospital?
Nergal isn't going to let a little thing like mortality stand in his way. Hail to Behemoth!
Wether he believes in god or not, he got truly sick what will happen if it happens to you Fred Phelps. since you are talking about Bible I don' think god said: IF SOMEONE GOT SICK MAKE FUN OF HIM! SO cute the crape and either wish for him to get better or shut the f*** up!
(Note: I just heard about the band, and it's not my type of music I like symphonic metal and my #1 band is Stratovarius :D)

I don't wish death on Adam, I sincerely hope he pulls through....do I think God did this to him?no...I do believe in karma, that s just me...but do I find it coincidental and utterly ironic this happened especially after this past year with what the band has said and gone through in Poland,absolutely....
I do hope Adam pulls through this but I also hope he quits degrading publically ones religion. ..say what you want about religion but there's a line you dont cross...to me behemoth did this past year and that's why I personally list interest in them as a band. ...

I don't think you guys trully understand the gravity of the situation.. a chemoteraphy that fight with leukemia destroys completely the immune system..of course it can be regenerated. Partially. He can come back to a decent normal living. Unfortunately, the chances that he will be able to come back to his metal lifestyle (live performances etc.) are almost equal to ZERO.

That's really serious/bad news and sincerely hope the BEHEMOTH Frontman Nergal/Adam Darski health will improve in the days and months to come so that the future will continue to enrich his Life. You have alot of living to do Nergal/ADAM so "please" get plenty of rest & listern to sound advice of healing from your Doctor's and Family, your beloved girlfriend Doda and fellow bandmates Seth, Inferno & Orion whom I've heard often tell you to chill-down some 'cause your moving too fast but I think "all" of you move fast and just need to catch your breath and rest every once in a while. Godbless and have a "healthy-healing" recovery from the inside out, outside in get better! Peace.

Just because a few musicians died this year don't mean sh**, uh it happens every year right? I think if worst comes to worst, they released their best album to date and are one of the leaders of extreme metal. They end on a good note. but I really do hope Adam and behemoth come back mightier and more blasphemous than ever. all hail slain and risen gods all hail dionysus!

Ultimately I hope he has a speedy recovery and gets back on tour, kicks ass, releases more albums and all that good stuff.
He was the first extreme Metal band I listened to. I'll never forget the first time I heard "Conquer All" back in 2005. It was my first and most evil and euphoric experience. I've seen Behemoth live twice, met Nergal and Orion in person once and have all their albums to date. They're the reason I got into Black Metal afterward, and I've been truly inspired stylistically by Nergal in my own guitar playing.
From a religious perspective, I'm spiritual, in the sense that I'm sure there is a God. But trolls and Christians alike need to understand that Nergal wasn't attacking faith in God. He was attacking the corruption of faith that starts when you build a religion around it. And its not faith that tells you to say "God is getting Nergal for blasphemy." That is religion saying this due to being conditioned by years fundamentalist corruption. And if anyone wants to talk about God cursing anyone for doing something wrong, the first people he's gonna go for are the sinners who try to hide behind a false image of god spouting off judgments like they were God themselves.
Even Jesus said "Take the log out of your eye before trying to take the splinter out of someone else's"
i don't approve of nergal and what he stands for but as a christian i don't wish him (or anyone else) any ill - rather i hope for both his physical and spiritual recovery. everything happens for a reason - not karma - but for purpose, design and destiny. there is a reason for everything under the sun. God didn't forget to tell us about these things - rather, we forget to listen.

Lots of polish health organizations are searching for a doner that could be a match for Nergal, some polish celebrities and musicians already tested themselves. I'm going next week to see if i can help him or any other person. I advise you all do the same. You can ask if it's possible for your hospital to send your blood sample to the polish hospital where Nergal currently is hospitalized, to know if you're a match for him, eve if you are from completely other part of the world.
My girlfriend is a nurse working on a chemotherapy center, she said it's quite possible so everybody who are really willing to help - go and ask your nearest hospital or blood centre.
P.S. Sorry for my english, but i hope that everybody understands me.
