Cattle Decapitation Comments On Recent And Upcoming Tour Dates

Cattle Decapitation has checked in with the following statement about the band's recent European shows:

"We have arrived home from our European tour with Gorod and Beyond Terror Beyond Grace! We had a blast and it turned out to be a successful headlining run! We'd like to thank BTBG and Gorod for all their help with equipment and everything. You guys really came through and this is probably the first tour we've ever done where there wasn't at least one dickhead in the bunch! Everyone was amazing and we all had a great time with ya's.

"We'd like to give a special thanks to our tour manager/soundguy Stefano for being such an awesome guy and giving us such an amazing tone every night! Thank you! And lastly, the fans for showing up and supporting us on our second European tour. We promise to come back more regularly starting after the next album! See you next year!"

Cattle Decapitation has also announced the "California Blood Tour," which will feature Devourment, Knights of the Abyss, Burning the Masses, and Sons of Aurelius. This will be Cattle Decapitation's final U.S. tour for the "Harvest Floor" record, as the band will commence the writing of their 5th Metal Blade release at the end of the year. Cattle Decapitation vocalist Travis Ryan had this to say about the tour:

"We've had this idea for a tour that was mostly comprised of California bands for quite a while now. I don't know, there was just something about the term 'California love' (popularized by 2Pac Shakur) that never quite sat right with us so we came up with something a little more fitting, considering the level of brutality that California has always had under its belt. From the seedy sewers in the big cities to the 'Cowshwitz' communities of central CA to the inhospitable depravity of the dry desert, we decided it was time to show the rest of the US that CaliGOREnia is not just about hippies, silicone bodies and marijuana dispensaries (not that there's anything wrong with that, haha!). This is California Blood!"
