Upcoming Big Four Concert To Be Shown In Theatres Live Via Satellite

For those who do not have enough money to fly out to Bulgaria to catch Tuesday June 22nd's "Big Four" concert featuring Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Antrax there is good news for you. Cineplex Theatres are going to be streaming the entire event live via satellite, as the action happens.

Cineplex released the following statement:
"For one night only, metalheads around the world can experience history: On Tuesday, June 22, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax perform on one stage together, and through the wonders of satellite technology, you can be part of this historic concert event, broadcast exclusively to select movie theatres around the world. The Big Four: Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, Metallica will feature nearly 4 hours of live performances and behind-the-scenes from the Sonisphere Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria."

Select movie theaters all around the world? Cineplex movie theaters are only in Canada, ie: the only country you can watch this... Dumb marketing!

They are showing it in the U.S. too. They are doing it through Fathom events at certain AMC movie theatres. I saw the comercials for it when I saw Iron Man 2 last month.
