Marionette Announces October UK Headlining Tour Dates

Sweden's MARIONETTE has announced that they will embark on a U.K. headlining tour in October.

Commented bassist and founding member Mikael Medin: “U.K. fans get ready for some monster shows on our headlining run this October. We took three trips to the U.K last year, each being better than the last. Those seeing us for the first time will get a proper evening with MARIONETTE. In addition to extended sets, including fan favorites from Enemies and Spite, we’ll play songs we haven’t tried out on the road in quite some time. Fans will also see that we’ve worked hard to upgrade all elements of our show. We’ll be announcing more shows in the coming weeks."

“As we wind down the touring for Enemies and begin thinking about the next MARIONETTE album, we are hoping to squeeze in a brand new song we are working on our new vocalist Alexander Andersson. He has not only proven to be an excellent growler, but has a belting clean voice that will floor you live. Get your tickets NOW and we’ll see you in the mosh pit this fall!”

MARIONETTE U.K tour dates are as follows:

10/06 – Joiners, Southampton, UK
10/07 – Orange Box, Yeovil, UK
10/10 – Central Station, Wrexham, UK
10/16 – King Tut’s, Glasgown, UK
10/17 – O2 Bar Academy Islington, London, UK

Other upcoming Marionette shows:
July 10 – Getaway Rock Festival, Gävle, Sweden

MARIONETTE recently performed a special farewell show for departing vocalist Axel Widén (Zombiekrig) at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg. Quality video footage of the song “HateLust” taken from the show can be viewed below:
