Hibria Announces New Bassist Benhur Lima

Brazilian metallers Hibria have checked in with the following update about recruiting a new bass player:

"Benhur Lima is the newest member of Hibria! Since the invitation to the audition, Benhur told us how excited he was with the possibility of joining Hibria, a band he already knew and respected since the first time he watched a concert many years ago. He learned the songs very fast and, in the audition, despite all of the expectable anxiety, he played even the most difficult parts very well. Besides being a talented and versatile bass player, he also will reinforce the backing vocals on live performances, and showed something that is fundamental for us: attitude. Immediately, we have great plans for the new CD and we trust Benhur will overcome all the new challenges. Welcome aboard!"

Benhur also commented: "It has been a great surprise when I got a call from the band inviting me to an audition. Of course I accepted immediately! I got a little worried, but damn excited! It is not a secret to anyone who has ever talked to me about Hibria it was the first band that really impressed me when I saw them live, not just musically but also because of their metal attitude on stage. When I met the guys, I realized that besides being excellent musicians, they are really cool! The vibe was the best and playing with them was wild! A true privilege, for real! It is a great honor to become part of one of the best Heavy Metal bands Brazil has ever produced, and I will do my best to be sooner than soon headbanging live with you guys!"
