Xanadoo Issues Tour Dates Recap

Singapore thrash act Xanadoo has issued the following recap of their recent tour dates:

"OI! Alright so we're finally back home here in Singapore so I thought I'd write a little something to round up the whole tour and thank a few people that we really owe a lot to for helping us out with the tour.

"First up there are all the promoters that were kind enough to invite a small little band all the way from damn Singapore to play at their shows. I wish I could remember everyone's names and all but I can't and I'm really sorry about that. But we really appreciate the support. And the constant concern about our safety, money and all round well being. Also, thank you for inviting us into your homes and letting us invade your living space for the night. It sure beats sleeping out in our van or on the streets so it is something we are very grateful for.

"OK so next we wanna thank all the bands that we played with for lending us use your drums, amp heads and other instruments. Without all your shit, we obviously would have nothing to play on so you guys were great. It was also great hanging out with you guys before/after the show. I wish we could have hung out/talked more but we don't really parlez francais so yeah. In any case, thank you also for playing these shows with us and making us feel welcome and teaching us so much about your country, music, everything.

"Alright so who's next? The one and only Thierry GaichaLUCIFER of Nuclear Thrash Prod. This tour really wouldn't have been possible without him because of course he was the one that helped us find all these shows. And not only was he the tour manager(whatever that is), he was also our driver, roadie, sound man, cameraman, tour guide, translator, father, brother, friend and everything else in between. Awwww how sweet! But really we will forever be indebted to him and of all the crazy people we met on tour, I really don't think there's anyone crazier than him for doing all that he did for us. OH and also his family for welcoming 3 smelly Asians with big appetites into their home for a whole week after the tour. So thank you Samira and Deyan! I hope you enjoyed our company as much as we did yours!

"Lastly we have to thank all the people that came for our shows. You guys were absolutely excellent. Thank you for taking time off work/home/life/whatever and coming down to see us. Anyone can support a band from their living room at home but coming down to watch a band live is the ultimate show of love and respect and we really appreciate that. The tour really wouldn't have been very much fun if we played to empty rooms. Thank you also for coming up to us and talking to us. Even if you didn't speak much English or whatever we really appreciate you just saying HI. Okay so I THINK that is everyone that we want to thank. Hope I didn't forget anyone.

"Alright so anyway over the next few days/weeks we will upload pics from the shows and we are going to try and put together a little video kinda thing of the whole tour. I don't really know when that will be ready because we have no idea how to edit videos and all that shit so yeah it may take some time. In the meantime if you have any pics/videos of us please send them to us via myspace/email/whatever. We'll be more than happy to include them in our video.

"Okay so that's about it for now. If you're still reading this, you're crazy. As the famous Sergio from Tarbes said, PEACE, LOVE & DESTRUCTION!"
