Slodust Comments On Slipknot Bassist Paul Gray's Passing

Slipknot bassist Paul Gray was found dead in a hotel room in Urbandale on Monday, May 24th, 2010. Drummer Dante X-X of Swedish metal act Slodust has now issued the following comments about Gray's passing:
"Music has lost one of their most important people. The co-finder of Slipknot, Paul Gray is dead. Slipknot is one of the biggest and greatest artists ever in my book. Without them/him, I wouldn't play music. So....thank you...for everything. RIP."

@cppchriscpp that may be true, but slipknot is still a huge force to be reconed with in the metal world regaurdless of if they're deserving or not. and besides, its still really sad to see a metal artist pass away like this. i just dont understand why it cant be all the rappers that are getting killed off, at least then thatll leave the air open for actual musicians to prosper.

Uh, what? Slipknot is not a bad band perse, but I really cannot call them the biggest or greatest band by any means. I find it kind of funny how he refers to a 9(?) person band as a singular artist as well. I just feel there are many other artists/bands out there more deserving of such a title, though I would be hard-pressed to place that title on any one of them. There are just too many.
