New York metal band Severed is streaming their entire new, self-titled album exclusively through Metal Underground.com from now until the release party show on May 9th. Listen to the album below.

The album features guest appearances from Jorge of Merauder on "Comprehension" and Ray from Full Blown Chaos on "Chosen ground."

Severed recorded the album over the past year with John Machado of Five Towns College and was mastered by Roger Lian. Cover art was created by Eliran Kantor, who has done artwork for Testament, Gwar, and Sigh. The tracklisting is as follows:

The band will be hosting a CD release party show on Sunday May 9th at Club Europa in Brooklyn, NY. CDs will be $5 at the show. The show is $10 and starts at 5pm. Playing with Severed are Fall of the Albatross, Will Killmore, Deceiving Persephone, Waist Deep in Flesh, Behold! The Bitter Truth, and One Hit Kills.

This is my first time using this Flash player, so please let me know if you have any trouble with it. I tested it in IE and Firefox and it was working fine for me here. Seems to have trouble when a song ends and is not resuming the next song though.
