Volcanic Eruption Halts Common Grave Tour
German brutal death metal band Common Grave has issued the following update regarding their recent tour cancellation:
"Unfortunately we are forced to cancel our participation in the 'Decoding Existence Tour' through Ireland/Scottland alongside Irelands Existing Threat!"
"As a result of the volcano eruption on Iceland and thus many flight cancellations in Europe in the last days, our flights to Ireland have been canceled too. The last few days, it has been uncertain weather our flight will take place or not. In the meantime we were looking for solutions and alternatives without any chances to book ferrys or by car in time."
"Until the last second we hoped that it somehow would be possible for us to fly to Ireland but now the moment of truth has arrived. While the German airspace reopens today, the airspace in London and the UK is still uncertain and therefore our reservations and flights have been canceled."
"It is a fucked up situation, but as it seems only a volcano can stop us!!!"
"We definitely will come back to the UK later this year! The tour with Existing Threat and others will still take place! We wish all the bands a great tour and hopefully see you soon!"
