Celebrity Apprentice: Bret’s Many Moods

Here we are, week five and Bret Michaels is still around, in honor of this achievement let’s go old school this week which means any time you hear the word AWESOME it’s bottoms up.

This week’s episode begins with Bret outside of the boardroom showing his dance moves to the women’s team. When the guys show up Bret is happy he wasn’t in the boardroom, and able to sit outside and drink. Bret is feeling ecstatic.

The new challenge is to create a commercial for Right Guard. The men pick celebrity chef Curtis Stone as their Project Manager, the women, Holly. Sharon isn’t there, still playing the sick card, and still staying alive in the game.

The teams start to come up with ideas and Michaels is all over the place, but is the only one with an idea so they run with it. Bret is feeling creative. Once they get to the studio Bret decides to change the creative direction, then changes back to the original. Eventually they get started on the set, but Bret is pulled away by a call from his daughter. She is having tests to determine if she is diabetic. Michaels breaks down, crying as he explains to the cameras. Bret is feeling sad.

After their set is complete they run through the commercial and all agree it’s pretty good. Bret says it is “AWESOME”! Bret is now feeling accomplished. This doesn’t last long as Bret again breaks down, this time in a white rape van that is taking them to the editor. Wishing he could be with his daughter, Michaels is in full tears, receiving comfort from his team. Bret is feeling sad and lonely.

Prior to the boardroom, Michael Johnson meets Donald Trump and lets him know he has to leave the show due to personal problems, leaving Rock Solid with only three members left. The women are beginning to turn on each other when Cyndi Lauper (who left for hours to meet President Obama) tries to take over the vocals part of the women’s commercial. Who does she think she is?

In the boardroom Trump begins by calling out Sharon Osbourne. “Should she be fired?” He asks the group. No one says anything so Trump allows Sharon to stay another week without doing anything. When asked how her meeting with the President went, Cyndi Lauper told Trump it was “Just AWESOME, a real AWESOME time”! Donald asks Bret about his situation and he says he wants to stay and fight for his charity. Bret is feeling determined.

The men’s team, Rock Solid, wins the challenge; however, with Michael Johnson leaving there is only three of men left. Who would have thought Bret Michaels would make it this far? Bret is feeling lucky.

On his way out of the boardroom, Bret is cracking jokes and making fun of the women’s commercial. He says it feels “AWESOME” to finally win another challenge. Bret is feeling AWESOME.

When was this show done? Brett had to have his appendix out on Sunday. I'm assuming the show's already over.

I think there's a delay between regular season filming (done) and the live finale usually.
