The Human Abstract Announces New Vocalist Travis Richter

Hopeless Records band The Human Abstract has announced that Travis Richter, formerly of From First to Last and The Color of Violence, will now be their new vocalist. The Human Abstract is currently tucked away in downtown Los Angeles writing and preparing for their third full length album for Hopeless Records. "We couldn't be more pumped on the current state of the band and can't wait to give our fans the best album our hard work has to offer," drummer Brett Powell adds. The album's recording is set to take place this summer with a tentative release for this coming fall.

A video update from the band, featuring the new vocalist, can be viewed below.

I'm interested in the new album and how it will sound. Love the old stuff but that video doesn't get me that excited to be honest. Hope they don't abandon the more technical / metal elements for a "core" sound. Time will tell.

there debut cd was epic, the 2nd was pretty decent, this'll be interesting, being the 1st cd recorded without the founding singer, or the original guitarist (he left band after recording 2nd cd) i trust it'll be great.
