Pat Boone already did this on his album "No More Mr. Nice Guy" back in 1997. He did an entire album of heavy metal classics (Priest, Dio, Hendrix, Ozzy, Zepplin, Cooper, AC/DC, etc...) performed in his lounge lizzard style. At first, I was fvcking offended until I found out that he truely appriciates metal and wasn't trying to make fun of it in any way.

I am not a fan of recent Metallica (last 10 years or so) but, in their defense, you can clearly tell that the music is dubbed over their performance. The playing doesn't match. It would be a sad, sad day when they would turn their own song into this.

Of course it's dubbed over their live performance. Still, it's very fitting. Even if it WAS for real, it somehow wouldn't shock me.

Jenny-exactly...but I still wish they had a different singer on the jazz version..his voice is already starting to suck on the Black Album...
