Wish corey was working on a new slipknot album instead of another album with his sensitive little side project

Expecting a softer more main stream and more political whining type lp...its a shame because their debut lp to me was a very good hard rock record....depressing

Yeah i agree with eraserhead too. Stone Sour makes an occasional good song but you cant even compare them to slipknot. Corey should be loyal to the maggots and just stick with slipknot full time.

Wow ryan666 how can you say slipknot is whiney and stone sour isnt. sorry to be the one to tell you this but stone sour is just a bunch of whiney bubble gum pop made for thirteen year old mommas boys.

Ryan666 have you even heard a stone sour album. they have made like three decent songs ever. If you really think stone sour is that good maybe you should be posting on blink 182.com or someplace more Appropriate for your badass opinions.

Agree with eraserhead that corey taylor should stick with slipknot. ryan666 is right about slipknots earlier albiums being best though. it seems like corey cant scream anymore though judging by his live voice in concert he's really bad and just mumbles everything

Okay surfacingmetal your right that corey cant do the things he did on those first two albums anymore. but still i would rather listen to slipknots worst effort than stone sours best effort any day

I am glad to await for this new stone sour album, it seems its the only thing that corey taylor and jim root are doing right atm tbh. In saying that, i didnt really like slipknots last album i just thought it wasnt a good ideal product so to speak, i guess they can argue, saying that the memebers of slipknot worked on it hard and all that, but idk it just didnt do it for me at all.
i think corey taylor is an amazing talent and i am all for the new stone sour album, they have alot of talent in that band regardless of how many of you wanna slag them off. give slipknot a break they cant be doing it 24 f**kng 7.

LOL, dude was having a conversation with himself!!!! Anyway, stone sour is way better than slipknot in my opinion. And whoever calls stone sour "soft", apperently didnt listen to come whatever may. That was almost harder than slipknots last attempt. All my opinion though

It's always annoying to see people who whine about them being too "soft". Stone Sour is just good hard rock, and I pity anyone who listens to them or Slipknot for heaviness. There's loads of bands out there who make both of them look like The Backstreet Boys as far as that goes.
