Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson's radio show "Masters Of Rock" is to be axed, according to the BBC. He will reportedly broadcast his last show at the end of April. Dickinson has been presenting shows for BBC 6 Music since it's launch in 2002 and his current show goes out at 9pm on fridays and finishes at midnight.
A 6 Music spokeswoman says, "6 Music is currently reviewing the way it reflects the Rock/Heavy Metal genres across the network and has decided to decommission the Friday Night Rock Show. The network, however, remains committed to reflecting both genres throughout the schedule as part of its core music offering. We would very much like to thank Bruce Dickinson for the hard work and commitment he has shown to 6 Music over the past eight years."

Oh bollocks do you! You want to simply shutdown BBC6 to save money, plain and simple. Stop with BS! You BBC nobs do realise that adults in the rock and metal genres are the ones who spend the most amount of money on buying our music, not ripping it off? We have one of the largest followings of any genre. We spend more money on live music than other genre.
Sod all that, "It's just racket, whose going to care?". FU BBC! I pay my TV license which part funds BBC Radio, so stop jerking us about and put Bruce back on the air!

Is it just me or do the two statements above seem as though by the time this is all said and done will conflict with each other?

they stoped the funding so no more metal on the radio so much but mean while they do some new rap progam
