Promoter For Metallica Concert Lowers Ticket Prices In Israel Following A Boycott

As previously reported, Metallica fans in Israel had been boycotting the band's upcoming concert in the country due to ridiculously high ticket prices. It seems now however, that the boycott has proven a success, as a post on the boycott's Facebook group reads:
"Friends, I’m shaking with excitement as I’m writing this. After a 4 day campaign, tens of news items about us worldwide, over 6000 supporters and numerous media interviews we can say that we did it! We won!
"This afternoon, Or & Tomer Mussman met with Mr. Gad Oron, the promoter’s representative and reached an agreement about a significant drop in ticket prices.
"We would like to personally thank Metallica and their management for directly helping us with reaching our goal and reducing the prices.
"We are officially asking each and every one of you to stop the boycott, and come and enjoy Metallica’s concert with us on May 22nd.
"We want to thank each and every one of you who made their contribution to our successful campaign by joining, signing the petition, or sending links from and to the media everywhere and helping our voice to be heard and echo all around the world.
"We want to thank the producers, Metallica members and management who were willing to talk to us.
"See you at the show,
"Tomer Mussman & Rotem Horovitz."

all the people who live there areso misserble
nothinghead, I`m pretty sure concur means to agree lol. St anger isn`t the worst album ever but it is among the worst ever from a band as awesome as Metallica.
And WOW I can`t believe this bullsh**. Just recently (I can`t remember if it was on this site or not) I read about some show, where a band is donating funds raised from it to Haiti, and Metallica has to reduce ticket price because they`re so f***ing greedy.
So Or & Tomer....How much did ya'll get from the promoter for yourselves? Because according to my math ya'll are still getting hosed. Paying over $240 (USD) for the good seats and $80 for crappy ones is still highway robbery. Hope you 2 got paid enough for helping.
SUCH fvckin trashcan lids on st chunder...worst drum tone ever! shab playing as well...and bob rock is the biggest cheesed***
token, i did the exact same thing you did...'cept after i hit eject, i slid that piece of sh!t down the griptape of my young hobbit brother's skate---THEN i hucked that crap out the window!!
it was an incredibly satisfying feeling...well worth the 12 bucks :)
"Paying over $240 (USD) for the good seats and $80 for crappy ones is still highway robbery."...at the risk of sounding old, I paid $7.50 for cheapest seats in 1979...I know that was a long time ago but that's still one helluva inflation rate! I enjoyed Metallica's last show, but come on now! I'd enjoy a new f-ing camera for that price! Or lobster for two!
"Go see Slayer or Mastodon instead."...oh hell yes!
