Ferox Canorus Announces Lineup Changes
New Jersey progressive metal band Ferox Canorus has issued the following update:
"A few months ago we lost our singer/guitarist and Chris Colalillo, then keyboardist, took on double-duty and began singing the lead vocals as well. So there is a big discrepancy between the band's sound a few months ago and the way we sound now. The line up is stripped down (from 5 members to 4) but we actually sound better than ever. All the old recordings and most of the live videos of us out there are actually with our old singer, Ivan."
"Soon enough the EP will be finished. I just need to finish recording the guitars. The new lineup is working out great and the recordings reflect how well we work together as a team. I am super-excited that the EP is finally closing in on seeing the light of day and I can't wait to introduce everyone out there to our new and much improved sound."
"I have to take a step back and thank three people: Andres Villota, Jaime Poveda and Ivan Ocampo. This line up was the ORIGINAL Ferox Canorus and they were instrumental in helping to establish the band's unique sound. It's a shame that none of them were able to push forward into this new chapter with us. Thanks guys! The band would have never existed without you!"
Upcoming Ferox Canorus shows are as follows:
03/05 - County Line Pub - Pine Brook, New Jersey with Fistacuffs
03/19 - Dingbatz - Clifton, New Jersey with Fistacuffs
03/27 - Muralhas Underground - Newark, New Jersey
