Bleak Art Records Planning Extreme Metal Covers Compilation CD
Bleak Art Records is currently planning the release of an official compilation of extreme metal covers; songs of chaos, destruction and anti-christian themes. Booking for the compilation is VERY limited, the disc will be 60 minutes in length, and this release may or may not be released on a limited edition LP of 500 copies after the cd press is sold out (which may be repressed). The cost of mixing and mastering, promotion and advertising, and international distribution will be covered by the company on behalf of the bands and each willing participant to contribute towards the release will receive copies of each pressing produced. One song the label is looking to have covered is "Where Is Your God" by Infernal Majesty. If any bands believe they have the ability to perform an outstanding version of this song, get in touch immediately.
Bands who are interested to co-operation on this release, please contact the label to let them know which song you wish to record and contribute. Your eligability will be decided after your abilities and performance is reviewed by the executive producers of the project and you will be notified of acceptance or denial for co-operation. Demo recordings of the cover song are acceptable for your band's application. However the final track to be produced on the album will not be demo quality, it will be professionally produced and the recording will remain an exclusive contribution to the compilation release.
The release is to be made in December 2010. For further info, contact Bleak Art Records through Myspace.
