Shadow Gallery Premiers Music Video For "Gold Dust" Online

American progressive metal band SHADOW GALLERY has premiered their new music video for "Gold Dust" (in its radio edit version), which can be viewed below. The song comes from their new album "Digital Ghosts," which was released October 26th, 2009 via InsideOutMusic in Europe. The album features the line-up of Brendt Allman, Carl Cadden-James, Gary Wehrkamp, Joe Nevolo and new addition Brian Ashland. The clip includes both live and location footage and features a cameo by Will Smith Sr. father of movie actor Will Smith. The video was filmed by Rick Berk and directed by SHADOW GALLERY bassist Carl Cadden-James.

"We are very excited about having done this and are genuinely pleased with the results. We were surrounded by extremely talented people during production and had a blast doing it", states Cadden-James. "The song ‘Gold Dust’ was the perfect vehicle for our first video and I think it's nice to be able to introduce Brian as a vocalist visually beyond his vocal performance on the CD".

The lyrical story is played out by model Heather Anthony and displays a very human side of the band that explores the emotional complexities of both desire and heartache and should resonate with almost anyone who has ever loved. SHADOW GALLERY has transitioned very comfortably from just an aural experience to the visual artistic expression that their music is so well suited.
