Vektor Issues Winter Mayhem U.S. Tour Recap

Vektor has issued the following recap of their recent U.S. tour alongside Heavy Artillery Records label mates Exmortus:

"People of Earth: Vektor is home at last from our first US tour Winter Mayhem, and by all accounts it was a resounding success (unless you count being fucking freezing for a solid month)! There were so many awesome shows and fun times had by all. First and foremost we have to thank everyone that showed up to the shows and rocked with us, picked up a shirt, and hung out with us. We met so many awesome people over that month that it's hard to even remember it all, and we thank you for it. Of course the other big thank you goes to our brothers in Exmortus for all of their help and for being great guys. There's not a lot of people I'd want to live in a van with, but if I had to choose, those guys would be at the top of the list. Finally, our rad merch guy and good friend Ryan Johnson deserves an honorable mention for coming along and sacrificing so much of his time just to help us out.

"We also wanted to apologize to Boston for missing out on your show, due to problems beyond our control. We are working on our summer tour plans (which will be more extensive, due to the better weather) and we will be making it up to you! Sorry to anyone who showed up to find us not there, we only had so much time to give notice that we couldn't make it.

"There were a lot of people asking us on the tour for vinyl, and we're happy to announce that a double LP gatefold vinyl of Black Future will be coming in the near future! More details on that will be coming soon so keep an eye out. Like, physically pull out one of your eyes. Also in the coming months (hopefully before summer tours begin) we will be setting up our webstore with shirts, patches, and other good shit for those of you who can't make it to shows or live somewhere we haven't been yet, so pull out your OTHER eye for that. And throw it.

"Aside from all that, for the next 3 or 4 months we'll probably be doing a couple of local shows here in AZ and doing some writing. Our plan is to tour approximately 2 months over the summer in the US starting around May/June. Check back soon for details on that and everything else we're working on!

"If you haven't picked up a copy of Black Future yet, what the fuck are you waiting for? We've been getting overall fairly positive feedback and we are grateful for that, so check it out and let us know what you think if you haven't already! Even if you write for Decibel and think we sound like NOFX and compare us to rappers! God I wish I was kidding about that last sentence. Keep rocking everyone, and hope to see you soon!"
