Rust in Peace Rules!!!! Slayer is so over rated. I mean yeah, Reign in Blood is good but that is about it. They have some cool riffs and some good songs but overall they just are not as good as megadeth or metallica in there glory days. I mean I just can not stand the guitar solos. I know it is trash music but come on there is just nothing to them, boring, like kerry king is just jerking himself off.

I liked both albums to be honest. Anyone wasting their time with the Metallica vs Megadeth thing now is either a child or an idiot anyway. Plus as I said before, the key thing here is opinion. I used to love RIP, but now I get bored of it real quick. Probably the reason I prefer Reign In Blood is because the songs are much faster and shorter than those on RIP, I'm not too good with longer songs anymore. MOP on the other sounds consistently fresh and interesting and while the songs go on a bit, they're structured well enough to keep me listening. That said I thought Ride The Lightning was better. The only Megadeth album I listen to fairly often is Killing Is My Business... 'cause that's a beast of an album. I'd rather they played that in full to be honest.

^I beg to differ. MOP basically consists of elongated, simple song structures that eventually bore the crap outta you. RIP on the other hand has loads of time signature/tempo changes that keep things interesting and there is a healthy variety between songs that are both greatly written and extremely memorable. Sure, it was a bit lacking in the lyrics department but although they weren't exactly eloquent, they had an adventurous and enjoyable tone to them. RiB was great but RIP is the epitome of thrash metal, to me. In fact, I think 'Peace Sells' (which was a very childish-sounding album) smokes the sh** outta the other thrash bands' discography.
