Attention Old-School Metalunderground.com Members: Login Now
I know there are a lot of you who have been members here on Metalunderground.com for a long time. Many of you tire of signing in for whatever reason. As we enter our ninth year, I have some new things in store and want to recognize those of you who have been active on Metalunderground.com the longest. So I encourage everyone with a user account to log in at least once in by the end of February 2010 so that we can see that you are still active. There might be something in it for you if you've been a registered member long enough and are still active on Metalunderground.com.
To encourage you a little more and show our appreciation of your dedication, I'm going to give the longest standing member who has logged in to Metalunderground.com in 2010 (before the end of February) a free limited edition Metalunderground.com t-shirt and sticker pack. The next 5 runner ups will also get a sticker pack.
Even if you don't win one of those prizes, I've got some ideas for acknowledging our long-time readers and participants. So don't delay - get logged in now and show us you're still around and active!

I can't even recall the first time I visited this site. It's probably been a good 6-7 years ago now and I haven't stopped coming back. Although, for the longest time, even though I posted regularly as coldiem, I never bothered to create an actual account.
I think I finally signed up when the avatar business started up a while back. I still read the site almost every day but I rarely sign in because I have no interest in taking part in the chat threads anymore.
Anyway, I'm just posting to show my support. MetalUnderground has changed a lot over the years, but always seemed to retain what felt familiar about the site.
My thanks to deathbringer and everyone else's hard work over the years. Keep it up and keep it metal!
I believe Zmetallica is the most senior member if memory serves me correctly. Hopefully he logs in to collect his merch. I for one would proudly bear the MU emblem on stage if I had one. Maybe DB will start making them available for purchase? DB... What say you? *credit card in hand*
Hey BG, yeah, Zack is one of the oldest because he was signed up as an admin before the public registration was opened. So he's not qualified, since he's a staffer (and already has a shirt).
You know, I have been planning to sell some shirts for a long time, but need to get the ecommerce crap set up. It's coming soon! Really...
DB: Cafe press works out pretty well and it's not that hard to set up. It allows multiple logos/immages to be available on just about anything you want to put it on. Then all you'd need to do is make a merch button available to us. I'd wear it religiously if I had one.
DB: Our biggest selling merch is CD's. After that black T-shirts (long and short sleeve are top 2, but the [color varies] baby dolls for the ladies is up there too), Beer mugs, and stickers. Suprizingly enough, we are also starting to sell a lot of thongs (which I hope to someday autograph). lol. We also sell a lot of posters but that's a band thing i think. Buttons are kind of meh to me tbh, because they're seldomly well done and even when they are done well it's not very noticable (like the hat/lapel buttons). Why don't you start a favorite MU merch thread in the forum and get everyone's take on it?
I am a new member, and I am not as active as I'd like to be, so I'll work more on that. I am posting to say I think this is a great idea! If you had a Metal Underground patch for my denims I'd wear it for sure. Peace guys! Good luck to all the people eligable!
deathbringer - only been here about a year and a half and I want to give props to the site! Doing a great job with it and the majority of the people who post seem like genuine good people. Thanks for keeping the site up and running. I would suggest a t-shirt or baseball cap. How about mouse pads or keychains. Just a few ideas for you.
Why stop at shirts or buttons? Beer mugs, shot glasses, bumperstickers, smoke shop accesories. And if you want to really trademark this site with viseable merch, skateboards, cue sticks and or dart boards, life size flags or banners baseball hats, sex wax, sneakers, those blow up plastic lounge chairs like those beer ads give away during the superbowl, and last but not least authentic halloween masks that look like the one and only deathbringer. Now that would be cool
Daaamn, So this is where all the old timers have been
hangin out.? I havnt seen some of these posters in quite awhile around here.!
As for the MU merch..? Hell yeah, I'd wear that stuff everywhere.! And I mean everywhere.. Ive travelled over 60 thousand miles in the last 6mnths... just think how many people could've seen a kick-a$$ MU shirt
on this metalhead \m/\m/
mhd101 - Yo man.. Whats shakin in Madtown.?
For me its all the same bro.. Same sh** different state and different highway.. But after awhile they all look the same.!! I'm currently on my way back from Louisiana.. Damn, the weather down there was excellent.. high 60s and sunshine :)
I would really enjoy having an MU shirt to add to my wardrobe full of black t-shirts \m/
But then again, that eye patch idea that FaN mentioned would be cool.. Not that I need an eye patch.. but I would consider wearing one if it had the MU logo on it \m/\m/
I would love for the Mighty "MU" to sell some decals and such.......have a few spaces open on my guitar case and would proudly display it, secondly....I tell all the people I encounter from shows to bandmates about the "MU" web-site.....in my opinion, I have never found a better site....and thanks for story DB, I may not be in the running here but I can promise you I'll be here until my dying days!!!!! \M/...\M/....

Have you heard the band 11:11 You've Been Warned?
Great album by band that sounds like a mixture of Tesament, Slayer and Priest. Alot of songs covering 2012 and the end in a very energetic way. My favorite songs are the "The Fire Burns" and "I Am The Future"
